Ned is responsible for business development, deal sourcing, financing, and the strategic direction of the firm.
Prior to co-founding NDT, Ned and his partners built a successful property management company, Kanga Property Management (NDT subsidiary), and have invested, developed, and managed a multi-faceted portfolio of residential, commercial, and hospitality assets in South Florida.
Ned was previously in New York City where he held financial analyst roles at Millennium Partners, Janney Montgomery Scott, and JP Morgan.
Ned received a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Managerial Studies from Vanderbilt University.
Damien is the active broker and responsible for all real estate development efforts, including planning, permitting, vendor relations, and construction oversight.
Prior to co-founding NDT, Damien and his partners built a successful property management company, Kanga Property Management (NDT subsidiary), and have invested, developed, and managed a multi-faceted portfolio of residential, commercial, and hospitality assets in South Florida.
Damien began his career as a Carpenter’s Apprentice in Brisbane, Australia. Thereafter, he built luxury homes in Aspen, Colorado and worked on various development projects in Florida, Turks and Caicos, Costa Rica, and Dubai.
Damien studied Construction Theory at Ithaca Institute in Brisbane, Australia and Estimating and Construction Management at Colorado Mountain College. Damien also completed coursework at Harvard Business School related to Marketing, Strategy, and Integrated Project Management.
Sam is responsible for deal evaluation and execution, operations, and general oversight and management of the firm.
Prior to NDT, Sam worked in direct equity investments and corporate strategy at Hamilton Lane (NASDAQ: HLNE), a global alternative investment management firm. At Hamilton Lane, Sam was responsible for deal execution, corporate M&A, product development, and other strategic initiatives.
Sam received a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida.
Sara is responsible for accounting, corporate finance, and transaction coordination.
Prior to NDT, Sara worked at RSM US LLP (RSM), a nationally ranked public accounting firm, working with a variety of private and publicly traded clients in the healthcare, insurance, and real estate industries. During her time at RSM, Sara was recognized by the firm for her leadership and client success.
Sara received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Central Florida and a master’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame.
Katharine is responsible for key strategic and operational functions in relation to hospitality, bridging the gap between NDT's real estate development projects and high-growth hospitality ventures.
Prior to joining NDT, Katharine resided and worked in New York City where she held various leadership roles at Convive Brands overseeing restaurant operations, brand strategy, sales and marketing efforts for Le Pain Quotidien, Little Beet, and Little Beet Table. Katharine has additional restaurant-specific experience working in operations for the Dinex Group, the restaurant group of Chef Daniel Boulud, and has also consulted with boutique and global firms such as Deloitte & Touche with an emphasis on national restaurant and hotel specific brands.
Katharine is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration.
Francis is responsible for leasing NDT's flagship project, Nora.
Prior to NDT, Francis was Senior Vice President and Head of Leasing, Marketing, and Brand for O’Connor Capital Partners. Additionally, Francis held leasing positions at WS Development and Simon Property Group. Francis has leased outlets, open-air lifestyle centers, traditional enclosed shopping centers, and downtown urban retail.
Francis received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Providence College. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and involved with New Urbanism, an international non-profit organization working to build vibrant communities.
Jonah supports the accounting and finance team.
Prior to NDT, Jonah worked at Sterling Organization, a vertically integrated private equity real estate firm headquartered in South Florida. During his time at Sterling, Jonah was responsible for the lease accounting components involved in managing 70+ commercial properties across five separate investment funds.
Jonah received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is in the process of completing his Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Margarita is responsible for project coordination as well as architecture and design review.
Prior to NDT, Margarita was a Project Architect at Spina O’ Rourke managing multiple high end commercial and residential architectural projects. Margarita also held roles at HNM Architecture and Glavovic Studio, where she managed various projects and produced construction drawings.
Margarita received a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a master’s degree in Construction from Florida International University.
